Scheduling Procedures

To schedule an event in the Santos Manuel Student Union you will need to fill out the proper paperwork requesting dates, times, locations, and other event details. You can check the availablility of a room(s) by coming to the Scheduling office, SMSU 103, or calling (909) 537-5962. When you have decided on a time and place, you will need to fill out the proper paperwork. The forms needed to do this are explained and attatched below. You can turn the paperwork into the Scheduling office, SMSU 103, or fax it to (909) 537-5951. Chartered Student Organizations will need to get Student Leadership and Development's (SLD) signature on the forms before turning them into the Scheduling office. Room reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. A room is not securely reserved until an email confirmation has been recieved via email from the SMSU Scheduling Department.

The Facility Use Request Form is the contract between the client and the Scheduling Office. Please fill out this form completely to request space for your event. You can also request equipment, AV and other event details. The contract is confirmed when you receive an email containing your reservation confirmation.

The Tentative Hold Form is used to hold the dates and times of your event until the Facility Use Request form can be completed. This is a pending reservation and needs to be followed up with a Facility Use Request form by the reservation deadline assigned by a Santos Manuel Student Union Representative.

The Revision and Cancellation Form is used to make changes to your current reservation. If you would like to change or cancel any detail, no matter the size, please complete this request.
